qPCR

qPCR enables simultaneous amplification and quantification of a relevant DNA or RNA fragment. This method can be useful for the analysis of vector integrations that might influence the behaviour of the relevant cell clone. It is possible to truly quantify the frequency of these cell clones and to follow clonal growth over time.

qPCR can also be used for gene expression analysis. In this case RNA is reverse transcribed to cDNA which is used as template for the qPCR. This analysis allows the detection and quantification of gene expression products which complements our integration site analysis excellently.
